I went to see this film last week because I happen to know one of the directors, Molly Bernstein. What an amazing film into the life of Ricky Jay, a reserved yet fantastic man from NJ who shares with us some of his tricks with cards and with life. The film also touches upon some individuals, like David Mamet, who talk about the man behind the cards, and his influence on them. The directors are ready to go on a national tour next month, and I couldn't be more proud of them, this film is the product of so much hardwork. Its opening in selected theatres however, if you are in NYC, you can check it out at Film Forum, lower west side over the next two weeks.
