I went to see him speak at Queens College last week. How amazing, brilliant, funny, and streetsmart he is!! How well-spoken, intellectual, and educated he is. And most of all, how freaking Dominican is he? His Dominicanness surrounding him like the brightest aura. I just simply am in love with the man.
Plainly dressed as he was, couldve been confused as one of the students who attended his talk. Always managed to put his modesty above his merits and schooled his moderator on why it's like to grow up black and latino in NJ, or Boston, or even NY.
