My DACA lawyer and now friend has created a website/blog titled "Immigration Law, News and Opinions: by an Immigration counsel who cares" to keep us updated on the latest immigration news, specially the current Immigration Reform bill being discussed in Congress these past couple fo weeks. Its simple, straight to the point and with concise information, it's coming from someone who works with the law everyday. Please Support!
In other news, this amazing girl, whom I promised I would write a play about her incredible life journey, has now become even more popular than before. Daily News has published her story last sunday on the paper, and though I was waiting to write the play first, her story is now out and you should definitely read it. Thanks to her it finally sunk into my head that one never knows what has happened in someone's life in the past so let's never judge them in any way. What I mean is that from the moment I met her, a sweet and introvert girl wearing a white shirt with the printed words "Puerto Rican" who kicks ass belly dancing, someone who like me was also half Latin American and half Middle Eastern. Who knew that a year later I'd learned her shocking story. It really put things in perspective for me.
