i was watching some of the videos from Nicholas Kristof, and it makes me feel so outraged with myself, with America and the whole world in general because so many people are being killed innocently, women are being raped and sold for sex. kids died of malnutrition and hunger. overall, they are poor, so they dont get justice. and it makes me so mad!!!
in a country like the US people rather listen to tabloids and technology than the lives of these people who dont know what education is.
and i kinda relate to them because they are poor and they dont get justice, opportunities for grow, education and respect. i wish i could help them, but then again, i dont have money ...people like this journalist can help them, but because he has the money to travel. only the few get to shine obviously, i feel down right now. i wanna help, but all i can do is limited. i wanna travel around the world and share their painful lives, but only few people who are willing to do it, can.
still, im happy to see that he shares his experiences with people like us, and that somehow we are becoming aware of the problems in these third world countries.
now, im asking myself: what is democracy? is justice part of democracy?
