"As undocumented people, we're often presented with circumstances in which we try our best to maintain our status out of the conversation.
In this episode, we present a moment of awkwardness that many of us have gone through. We're confronted by old friends (who have obviously moved on with their lives), and in order to appear as though things are moving along in our lives, sometimes... we fib. Sometimes, explaining our situation is just too overbearing of a conversation, so we avoid the topic all together by letting on that we are indeed living and leading normal lives.
Being undocumented inhibits us from moving forward with our professional lives, and it makes having private lives all the more difficult. In today's political climate, we are often stripped of our rights (under the pretense that we, in reality, had no rights to begin with), and we're reprimanded severely for trying to enjoy some of the privileges that American citizens enjoy. How can we explain such a lifestyle to others who have never thought twice about their privileges?
There's really no way to convey those feelings and experiences in one simple conversation. It's too complex. So we hide our truths in the shadows of our dreams, and we fly... soaring under the radar, moving forward, eager to see brighter and better days."

This is the series' episode 6. I recommend watching all episodes though.
